4 best places for Christmas Music in Hong Kong this December

Christmas is love, it’s joy, it’s celebration, it’s gratitude, sharing and peace. It’s the jolliest time of the year. Every family has its own Christmas tradition, sometimes even if they don’t celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! The giving of gifts, gathering together to watch Christmas movies, family feasts of turkey and pudding… there’s so much that goes into making Christmas what it is.

Something that often isn’t discussed, though, is the music.

Christmas music, especially the charming tradition of caroling, is a true X(-mas) Factor! Over the years, many songs have become intrinsically linked with Christmas, from traditional carols like Silent Night and Joy to the World to iconic jazz and blues tunes, or even Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You.

Here in Hong Kong, Christmas 2018 is set to be a musical one! With a range of musical possibilities, from Symphonies to Christmas Carols, Gospels to Musicals and even Ballets, the city is a hotspot for Christmas music. If you’re an audiophile, here are some of the best places to visit this festive season.
