Founded in 2013, the South Island Cultural District (SICD) is currently formed by 19 galleries and art spaces in the Wong Chuk Hang and Tin Wan districts. One of few districts in Hong Kong having so many high quality galleries located in their area.

Saturday, 22 September, 16 galleries of the SICD will open their doors and welcome guests to experience the varied program of contemporary art exhibits, dance and music performances and talks by local and international artists.

Our group will walk around the area and spend over 3 hours absorbing the culture and enriching their knowledge of HK local artists.

Following our leisurely walk around the SICD, we will enjoy an afternoon tea, coffee, drink at the Africa Tea and Coffee House overlooking the Aberdeen harbour.

13:30 hours, meet at the MTR South Island Line, Wong Chuk Hang Station, Exit A to start our walking tour of several galleries.

Finishing our tour at the Africa Tea and Coffee House, 15/F, Room 1501, 41 Heung Yip Road, Wong Chuk Hang with snacks & drinks and discussion over our tour experiences.

18:00 hours, SCID Art Day 2018 tour finishes
