What better way to spend a Sunday in March, than a late morning hike on Hong Kong Trail Stage 8-Dragon's Back starting near Tai Tam, finishing on Shek O Road, then share a taxi to Stanley for lunch at Angeletti's Western Restaurant your own expense.

Hong Kong Trail, Stage 8, commonly known as Dragon's Back because it runs along the ridge of the mountains between Shek O Peak and Wan Cham Shan.  The start of the walk is steep and challenging, and offer beautiful views over Tai Tam Harbour, Tai Tam Bay, Shek O Wan and Big Wave Bay.  The peak is at 284 metres and the entire walk takes around 2-hours and covers 8km.

We will finish, at Shek O Road, then share the Angeletti Western Restaurant 126 Stanley Main Street at your own expense.  We will reserve a table for our group, therefore it is important to sign up for this Sunday event.

Dragon's Back hike is challenging but worth the effort for the views.

Pack a spare shirt or change of clothes to feel more comfortable at lunch.

Sturdy walking shoes, suncreme, hat and plenty of water are all recommended.

Mobile phone coverage is not great while on the hike
